Hey guys and welcome back! I’m so happy for the Winter break because I now have so much free time to get some winter piccys taken and spend time with friends and family. Now you guys seem to love when I give you all some beauty recommendations so today I have a guide for what the best beauty buys are this Winter season featuring my faves, Technic Cosmetics. You’ve probably heard me speak of their products a couple of time because I genuinely love them so much. They were so kind and offered to send me some of their new releases this Christmas so I’m gonna show you them all and of course include some swatches! Quick reminder: there is only 7 days left to enter my giveaway so secure your chance of winning a Huge Christmas Beauty Bundle!
If you know me, I literally love brow products, like nowadays I rarely leave my house without having done my brows. I never used to get the hype about brows until I started doing them myself. Technic have this neat lil kit type of product called Brow Buster which would be amazing for those just starting out with brows or those who already have experience too. It includes a handy mirror that has a x10 magnification perfect for seeing close up to the brow. It also comes with sleek black tweezers which can be stored in the back of the mirror so this would be perfect for travelling!
Next up is another brow product and I was particularly excited by this one! This is called BrowMazing and it came in this cute lil tote makeup bag too. From what I understand and from when I’ve tested it, it’s like a liquid for filling in your brows, I know, sounds terrifying right? Believe me, it’s not though! It works similar to a tinted brow gel, only, more opaque in colour. A little bit of this stuff really does go a long way so a few light strokes on the brow, then distributing and combing the product through with the provided spoolie, create a beautiful quick and easy brow. With this product you could create a strong or a natural brow, or even use a tiny bit to set a brow powder or pomade in place. The only downside to this product is that accuracy can be a lil bit on the tricky side but that’s nothing that a lil bit of concealer can’t fix!
Above is are the swatches for the Technic FaceFix palette. It includes a blush, bronzer and highlighting shade. All three of the colours have a very nice pigmentation and are not chunky or chalky in any way. Due to the bronzer being matte, it comes up as more of just a face powder for me because it matches my skin tone but the highlight and blush and stunning, especially when mixed together!
A lil while ago you may have seen my review on the Technic Brush Cleaner and I have found that the Makeup Brush Scrub Pad is the perfect duo for getting your brushes clean! It has a suction pad at the bottom so it can stick to the sink as you wash your brushes for ease of use. A quick swirl in the solid brush cleaner then rubbing the brush in circular motions over the Scrub Pad deeply cleanses my brushes.
Last but by no means least the lippies! I never used to be a big lipstick wearer, I was always more of a sheer gloss typa gal, but wow these have changed my mind completely. Technic have managed to combine the opacity of a lipstick into a gloss with the Hi-Gloss in the shade Mars. It has an ultra glossy finish and the most amazing feel on the lips and a scent that is divineee! The swatch you see above was only one swipe, it’s literally that pigmented. It’s quite a deep red / burgundy and would compliment a range of skin tones and it’s the perfect colour for the festive time of year too!
The Metallic Gloss surprised me so much as well! I mean I’ve never tried a metallic gloss but I’m really liking this one. It’s in the shade infinity and is kinda like a gold, rosy copper tinted colour with a gorgeous shimmer. I don’t think that I would wear this much as a lippie by itself but more as an eyeshadow or a lip topper. It would look so pretty on top of the Technic Pro Finish Lipstick in Miss Chief. It’s a matte pinky – red shade, similar to the MAC lipstick in Sin that I have so Miss Chief is definitely a dupe for MAC sin.
This is the only product that I am yet to try but this is the Technic Ombre Lip Pencil. I’ve seen ombre lips so many times over my Instagram feed and have always wanted to try it for myself. This pencil is duel ended and includes a dark matte pink nude and a lighter pinky nude. They are both super creamy and I can’t wait to try them out!
I really hoped that you enjoyed this post and let me know if you have any recommendations for some beauty bits this winter. Don’t forget there are only 7 days left on my giveaway, be sure to enter below!
P.S: I’ve finally finished school for the year and I’m so happy! What are your plans for this winter break? Byesies! Xxx
