Delights of December

December 27, 2015

So that’s it. The year is almost over and Christmas is done and dusted. I hope you enjoyed your Christmas dinner… I think I enjoyed mine far too much! All the Christmas games and festivity with everyone grinning as they gave and received gifts, it was just all so lovely. I ended up falling asleep at about 1 am and woke up at about 12 pm. Whoops!

There was so much that I’ve loved about December this year and a bunch of random bits and bobs that I’ve found myself falling back onto quite a lot, so I thought I would put together a little favourites post. I don’t think I’ve done one of these since my September Beauty Picks so that’s  a good 3 months ago! My September one was more makeup orientated and this one is a little more of a general roundup. Well they say there is a first for everything I guess, so lets just hop right into it!

Gold Rings – I never really used to wear very many rings but then I saw these and literally fell in love with them. They are the kind of thing you would see on Pinterest and they just jazz up any outfit and just manage to look gorgeous with anything!

Mason JarsMugs – You can’t go wrong with a cute little mug or mason jar can you? Especially in the Winter months, I seem to find myself reaching for decorative mugs or a mason jar to have a nice hot drink in bed with a nice movie to watch too. I think my favourite Christmas drink has to be a extra chocolaty hot cocoa! What’s your favourite festive beverage?

Jumpers – Oh I do love myself a good chunky knit jumper. They have been my favourite thing to wear this winter, closely followed my my onesie! You can just chuck one on and immediately feel so comfy and relaxed.

Planner – This is the most cute and photogenic thing ever! This was actually one of my Christmas pressies and I love it to pieces. It has over 240 customized post it notes and weekly organising sheets and because it’s so pretty, I find myself using it more often.

Lush – Need I say more! You can’t beat a good old lush bath bomb that makes your bath turn all thee colours of the rainbow. Plonking a in that ball of fizzy explosions into your nice hot bath, infuses the water with sweet scents and makes the water feel like silk on your skin. I just find a lush bath so relaxing in the Winter.

Socks – I think some pretty socks are one of my December niceties! I mean come on, some cute knee highs or some super warm cosy socks are just perfect for those cold winter days.

Magnetic Earrings – I have been persuading my mum to let me get my cartilage pierced for some time now. I have wanted it done ever since I was 6, I remember saying ” When I’m older I want an earing at this bit of my ear.” So my mum got me some magnetic earrings for Christmas and said I can try out the different places wear I might want my piercing, then in the new year I can get it done! Well, ok she didn’t exactly say that….. it was more along the lines of I’ll think about it at the end of the year but we know when parents say ” I’ll think about it” it’s  basically a big fat yes, right?

So that’s it! I hope you enjoyed my favourites. I gonna stop talking now because I think I have done enough of that now, well typing, but ya know what I mean! The next time I will talk (type) to you all will be in the new year I guess so I hope you had a very merry Christmas and now have a happy New Year! Byesies!

P.S: Would you guys like to see a New Years resolutions post next week because I have it all drafted, I just wondered if you would like to see it? Also, this is a bit random, but what piercings do you want? Like I really want my cartilage and to dip dye my hair brown. Xxxx

Have you seen...
