Lights ….. Cameras, Christmas!
Do ya see what I did there!? Lights, Camera Action // Lights Cameras Christmas…..yeah I know it not the great but hey there and welcome back to my blog or welcome to you all newbies!
Not long now until Christmas! I am literally so excited, I can’t wait to roll out the oversized cozy Christmas jumpers and nestle down in my onesie and begin my festive movie marathon. On Saturday I went down to Oxford Street with my mum and a few of my cousins. We all met up when it had just gotten dark, after 5 o clock maybe? We took the bus there…well quite a few buses really which took rather long. It was so cold outside ; I could literally see my breath! Like you know it’s Winter when you can actually see your breath! Anyways it took us an hour maybe to get there, well I’m not to sure to be honest because the whole world was put on mute after I plugged my earphones in. I must have looked like a right lunatic miming the words to all these different songs with my head bopping about to the music! Once we got onto the busy streets I felt a little overwhelmed by all the people around me, after all is was a Saturday night in the heart of London which is practically the perfect time for all those party animals to come leaping out!
I was a bit apprehensive taking out my big camera because I’d seen some people on bikes ride pass the bus I was on and steal some crisps. I know it sounds lame and in a way it is, I mean of all things to steal… just one packet of crisps. But that kinda shook me up a bit and the odd thing was, that I was the only one who saw, my mum didn’t see nor did my cousins so sometimes I think I see too much for what I can actually handle and take in. I managed to get some nice bits of photography of the Christmas lights along Oxford Street and it got me all into the Christmassy mood! But then right at the end it begun to rain….. typical British weather!
I ‘m so sorry this just turned into another one of my rambles again! This literally happens all the time and I need to stop, but it’s so nice just to be able to just talk with you guys. I can type out all my thoughts until my heart is content…… or until I reach the word limit! So I hope you liked this post and I didn’t bore you too much with my long story there so hopefully the photography can make up for it! See ya soon!
P.S: I have no idea what to write for this weeks ps but it’s only 25 days until Christmas so yaaaay!!! Also if you are still reading (which I don’t think that anybody is) what are you most excited for this Christmas? Is it the aroma of gingerbread cookies or all the festivity or simply just some good old presents!? Xxx
