The beach is just gorgeous….don’t you think? On Saturday I popped off to Eastbourne to visit my lovely friend Ella who I hadn’t seen in quite a while. We walked along the pier and were accompanied by some pesky sea gulls. They are surprisingly large and a little intimidating I must say!
We took a little walk along the beach and got some delicious Slush Puppies! The sea was quite chilly but we still dunked out feet in and had a little splash about. There were some beautiful shells amongst all the pebbles and I managed to find two intricate patterned ones and took them home as a souvenir. Ella and I took some cute pictures on the beach and made some sand and pebble art too which turned out to be so pretty!
Later on we got the traditional chips from a hut just a bit further up from the beach front. I found them a little tricky to eat since I now have braces but I still enjoyed them sooooo much. We munched on those on the journey to a little shop called Hobbycraft. I picked up a few bits and bobs for my scrapbook as I am trying to get into scrapbooking this summer! After that I went back to spend some time at Ella’s house and we had a right old good time! Watching YouTube videos, playing around with makeup and creating some funny dubsmashes and making memories.
I had such a great time and I hope to see her again soon. I am so sorry that this post was very writing heavy and a little bit of a ramble but this day was honestly too good not to write about! I will be back soon with another post! Feel free to leave a comment about how your summer is going.
