Heya! My goodness I am so worn out! I’ve had such a busy school week and this weekend I was out both days so I’m glad to be sitting down to write to you guys. I feel like everyone is getting in the Christmas spirit now and especially now lots of brands and shops are putting out their x-mas and black Friday deals now. I can’t wait to snatch a bargin! Today I have for you a review on the White Cosmetic Brush Kit from the company BangGood. They very kindly offered to send me over these brushes and I was really impressed with them so wanted to share my thoughts on them with you all! After all, you can never have too many makeup brushes. (I feel like mine are always dirty though hehehe!)
So first off a little bit about BangGood themselves. They are an online shop, similar to Amazon where you can shop over a range of different niches and categories. The products came securely packaged in a foam wrap so the brushes were not damaged in any way when I opened it up. Then inside the wrap were the brushes each individually wrapped in plastic casing then put together in one big plastic holdall.
The set included a variety of brushes and BangGood say:
10Pcs brushes for different functions. Soft and comfortable for use, perfectly for both Studio and Personal use.
On the website there are many different coloured sets but I have the white and gold ones. (did anyone else just think about the whole black and blue, white and gold dress when I said that?) I think that they are so aesthetic, like you always see YouTubers and Instagram makeup accounts with these type of sleek white and gold makeup brushes and they are more than likely really expensive but these are an absolute bargin for £5.71!
The quality of the brushes i found to be just as wonderful as their appearance! They sit comfortably in the hand and don’t have that cheep plastic like feel that a lot of other brushes tend to have. I was so surprised at how soft the brushes were too, when I was testing them out last week I was so pleased at how they felt on my skin.
As I said before, the set includes 10 brushes. There are 5 larger face brushes and 5 smaller eye/ detailer brushes. So I’m going to quickly go into a bit more detail about each of those.
So for the face brushes there is :
- A flat top stippling brush
- An angled flat top brush
- A fluffy powder brush
- An angled powder brush
- A pointed tapered brush
I found that all of the face brushes were quite dense while still being soft, which I found perfect for face makeup application. The power brush and the tapered brushes especially were less densely packed with bristles meaning they’d work great with powder products. I’d say that there is no particular way for each brush to be used so they are very universal which is always a bonus!
The eye set included:
- A flat top blender
- An angled flat top blender
- A fluffy blending brush
- An angled fluffy brush
- A tapered eye brush
As you can see, the eye set basically mimics the same shapes for the face set but just in smaller eyeshadow brush versions. I especially liked the tapered eye brush as I found it focused the crease colour so nicely and blended it out seamlessly.
So that was my lil’ review on these gorgeous brushes. I would genuinely recommend these, like c’mon you can’t get any better than a 10 piece brush set for almost a fiver! I hope you enjoyed reading today and that you have got some inspiration as to where you can get quality makeup brushes for a really good price. Also, get excited because next week’s post will be the first of my Christmassy themed ones! Here’s a clue: It involves putting up my Christmas tree…
P.S: I’ve started out my Christmas Shopping and am about to start wrapping up a few of my friends presents soon! Have you started browsing around for presents? Byesies! Xxxx
