Heya! I have such an exciting post for you guys today. I think that I started my Christmas shopping maybe at the end of November, just picking up little bits and pieces here and there. Though I kept finding it difficult to find other little cute things for other people and was always on the hunt for something new. So today I thought I would help you all out if you are struggling with what to get people this holiday season with some Secret Santa gift ideas! I’ve compiled together as many lil’ gifts and DIY’s as I could for this guide so I hope you find that it helps.
DIY || SANTA’S CANDY SLEIGH
This super cute gift is really easy to make and looks fabulous at the end, not to mention absolutely delicious! I’ve actually made these for my friends too. All you need is some candy canes, some delicious candy and a glue gun. Simply take two candy canes to make the base of the sleigh then arrange your chosen candies on top of the canes and secure them with the glue gun. Then tie some ribbon around it and you have one easy-peasy gift!
DIY || MINI NAIL KIT
Now this is something that you can really easily throw together, it’s simply getting a nail varnish and adding a cute festive note! I opted for “Rudolph the red toes reindeer” and I thought that it would be perfect for a secret Santa gift idea since it is quite inexpensive.
DIY || CANDY PHOTO FRAME
I saw this on Pinterest and just knew that I had to feature it! For this lil’ DIY all you have to do is get a photo frame, that is quite deep and buy some of their fave sweets or chocolates. Layer and arrange the treats in the photo frame and then secure the back of the frame on like normal. Then you can write a personalized message on the frame. I really liked the one I saw online that said, “In case of an emergency, break glass”. This gift right here I think is one of my personal faves.
DIY || CHOCOLATE COVERED CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE
This is last one I have to show you and I think it would be perfect for an older family member. All that is needed is: a glue gun, an empty wine bottle and some chocolates (I think Ferraro Roche’s would work best but I used Galaxy chocates). Simply get the chocolates and wrap them in clear plastic covering if they don’t have their own packet and hot glue the bases of them onto the wine bottle, repeat the process until the entire bottle is covered. Cover is clear wrapping paper and secure with some twine or ribbon. It looks a little bit like a chocolate Christmas tree and I love it!
And that’s all the little ideas I have for you today. I think that this is one of my fave Christmas posts that I’ve ever written and I hope that you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! Let me know if you decide to recreate any of these DIY’s or used them as inspiration for gifts or a secret Santa! I think that the ideas would be perfect for any gender and could suit many ages groups too. Below are the winners of the riddle contest last week and the answer for riddle too!
