Hey guys! I hope you are all doing fabulously. Today I thought I would share with you all my favourite makeup products that I’ve been going back to quite a bit recently. I’d been taking advantage of the fact that it was the Easter break to try out some makeup products and come back to old ones too and these little makeup bits I would have to say were my Spring essentials!
NYC – 5 in 1 BB Creme: This is the perfect alternaive to a heavy foundation as it provides great coverage and feels weightless on the skin. It corrects any imperfections on the face and blends out seamlessly to leave a beautiful natural glow.
COLLECTION – Pressed Powder: This is by far my absolute favourite powder of all time! It doesn’t cake up on my skin and it sets my BB cream in place perfectly. Even if I don’t want to wear any base makeup, I can just dust some of this powder all over my face to reduce any oil breakouts and I just generally find this to be a really nice light powder for the Spring time.
MUA – Shimmer Highlighter, Opalescent Amber: Now first of all the packaging is absolutely gorgeous, with intricate swirly patterns carved into the product. I’ve never been one for highlighters as I thought they were too flamboyant and harsh, but this one is the complete opposite! It has a lovely golden glow and blends out to give a subtle highlight and is build-able if need be.
COLLECTION – Lasting Colour Gel Eyeliner: At the moment this is my ultimate favourite eyeliner. This is the first gel eyeliner that I’ve bought and it has definitely done the job well. It comes with a little eyeliner brush too in the packaging which is a definitely a plus and there is a lot of product in the pot too so it will last a while. The eyeliner doesn’t smudge, is long-wearing and feels very soft on the lid.
SEVENTEEN – Mini Eye Palette: This palette was gifted to me by my fantabulous friend Ella and oh golly I love this palette! It has the perfect Spring transitional shades of pretty pinks and shimmery purples with a lovely little highlighter shade too.
MUA – Spring Break Palette: This palette was brought out in 2015 so I don’t think it’s available anymore, but it was formulated around the idea of Spring so the colours suit the season to the tee. There are a mixture of matte shades and shimmers, brighter colours and more neutral ones so I find it perfect to create any eye look.
ELF – Rustic Brick: This lipstick has a really creamy formula and is very nourishing on the lip and not drying at all. The colour is like a dark dusty rose pink colour which I think would look great on all skin tones and the perfect colour for Spring time.
RIMMEL- Show Off Lip Lacquer, Comet: Now Rimmel has formulated a lovely glossy type liquid lipstick. It’s a bit thinner and glossier than the traditional liquid lipstick but still has a good colour pigmentation. It is a lighter dusty pink nude which is again a gorgeous shade for the Spring.
So that was my little Spring essentials list and if you’d like I can do a high end Spring essentials since this one was all drugstore. Let me know down below what your Spring essentials are in the comments, but for now all that’s left to say is I shall speak to ya all in a few weeks!
P.S: ‘speak ya all in a few weeks’ you wonder? I am just taking a little blogging break for a couple of weeks, just to clear my head and sort out a few things. I hope to come back inspired and ready to produce some fresh new content for you all. And as like a PPS, I would just like to thank you all for the lovely comments and support that you have given me throughout my little blogging journey and that I really do appreciate every little comment and view! I will speak to you again soon! Byeseies! Xxxxx
