I think it’s good to question sometimes. Whether it’s at school, or something you don’t understand or just in general. Like I’ve recently questioned the design of my blog which resulted in me starting to make gradual changes. Questioning is normal as it simply drives from our natural curiosity. When you question, you in most cases receive an answer back or information for you to be able to answer the question for yourself. But sometimes you can’t always get a straight answer. That can either lead you to become more driven to find a secure answer or leave you feeling lost and confused.
Sometimes getting a straight answer can put your mind at rest or leave you feeling upset or dissatisfied. You may have hoped for a different answer or thought so strongly that you knew the answer, but when it came it was completely different to what you thought. It’s like you’re happy that you have the answer but, you almost wish that you didn’t have it coz it wasn’t the solution you wanted or thought it would be.
But then you can’t win because when you don’t know the answer to the thing you’ve been questioning, you end up wanting to know the solid answer because you’ve become sick of the wishful thinking. The wishful thinking almost keeps you going and give you hope but deep down you know the answer is gonna be quite the contrary. I feel like this hope for what you think will be the answer can make you feel so so happy but the feeling after your find out the proper answer almost crushes all the hope that you had if you see what I mean.
Knowing the solution to your pondering question can put your mind at rest while also sending your thoughts into overdrive. Thinking what if or if this happened then… It’s so hard to accept things when they are not always what you hoped they’d be but after questioning closely follows acceptance and that in itself is something that we’ll have to accept.
