Hey guys! How has your Summer been going? A lot of the Summer seems like I blur because I’ve managed to pack in so much and have tried to go out and do something almost everyday! I’m having a well deserved rest this weekend though and gonna relax in my garden. Anyways today I have a good ol’ beauty post for you all featuring a brand that I absolutely love. You saw me feature Technic in a post a few weeks ago, talking about their brush cleaning product. They were ever so kind enough to also send me a few of their bestsellers to review and show you guys so that’s what I have for you today! I have a mixture of both face and eye products to show you so lets just hop right on into it!
Something that I always find so sweet is when brands write you lil letters or handwritten notes in their packages. Technic always send over a really cute personalised letter which always makes me so happy! As you can see they just explain a bit about the brand too and what kind of products they stock. So over the past week, I have been putting these products to the test so I can give an in depth review on each of them. As usual, the products came really well packaged and wrapped in bubble wrap for extra security.
The first thing is their Powder Brush. This is no exaggeration when I say this is one of the softest brushes I’ve ever felt on my face. It is honestly beautiful! I use it with my Collection Pressed Powder and it picks up the perfect amount of product and is able to distribute and buff it out so well. It’s quite a large brush so it works really well when powdering the whole face.
I had no idea that Technic stocked eyelashes so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw them inside the package! The lashes are the only product that I am yet to try out simply because I don’t wear lashes very frequently, but when I do try them on I will let you know my thoughts. They sent me the Natural Set so they will be perfect for me when I want to glam up my makeup look. As for the Technic Mega Lash Mascara, this has quickly become a part of my daily makeup routine. It does all the right things for my lashes; volumises, lengthens, clump free and is waterproof. The wand is quite large and fluffy but it applies the mascara so evenly and has quickly become a favourite of mine. It lasts all day and doesn’t require any touch ups.
How gorgeous is this palette! My goodness! This is the Technic Bronzing Eyeshadow Palette, complete with 6 stunning shades. I feel like my camera didn’t do the colours justice and pick up the pigment as well as they showed up in real life but you can see the colours nicely in the pan. In the palette there is a good mixture of shades: a brown-toned deep bronze, a light champagne gold, a pink-gold, a icy blue toned silver, a purple-tinted bronze and of course a classic copper. The shadows are not chunky at all. When applied on the finger they can feel quite dry, however once on the lid they go on nice and opaque and sit comfortably on the lid.
I love me a good highlighter and I’ve really wanted to try out a liquid highlighting cream for so long so I was literally overjoyed when I saw it! It is the Strobe FX Cream – Sunkissed and it is beautifullllll! The cream is so smooth and gives of a really pretty natural glow. I think it would look lovely underneath a foundation as well. It looks really nice by itself and also when it’s topped with a powder highlight, which is what I’ve been doing with the Technic Strobe Kit. The Strobe Kit includes 2 cream and 2 powder highlights. There is a cream pink toned highlight, a cream champagne, a powder icy pink and a powder light gold highlight. I love that there is such a variety of shades in this palette, it makes it really diverse so it would suit so many different skin tones.
Last but not least is the Technic ColourFix Blush Palette. This has to be my favourite product! The shades are incredible, ranging from lighter to darker colours and muted to warm tones. When I swatched the colours, they felt super soft on my finger and gave off so much pigment in just one swipe. I actually use this palette for eyeshadow because ya know, why not! I was lacking some pink shades in my eyeshadow collection and these blush colours are perfect. I even have a lil makeup tutorial coming soon that features this palette, can you guess what kind of look I create?
P.S: I feel like the Summer is almost over, I go back to school on the 6th September. When do you guys go back to school/college/uni? Byesies! Xxxx
