Hey guys! This week has been so exhausting. I’ve had my end of year exams all throughout this week and I’ve still got a few more next week. I also found out what I got for my GCSE’s and luckily I got all the ones I wanted which were: French, Art, History & Geography. I’ve done I don’t really own many high end makeup products, but the few that I do own I absolutely love. As you may or may not have known, I was in France on school trip for a week a little while ago and had the opportunity to go into Sephora! I was literally so excited I couldn’t help but pick up a few things. One of the products I got was the Urban Decay Highlighter Palette which recently came out. Oh my goodness I can’t even! It’s so pretty and the shades are gorgeous and don’t even get me started on the packaging!
The packing got me at first glance, I mean how could you not fall in love with it. I’m a sucker for anything holographic, like I literally find it so mesmerizing! (hehe!) The palette comes in a box like your standard product does. The colour of the packaging as you can see is like gold with holographic stripes almost. For the palette itself, it has the same iridescent colour theme on the inside and outside. It is incredibly sturdy and a bit weighty, you can practically just feel how good the quality is just from holding it! When you open the palette up there is a massive mirror on the inside which is always useful to have. At the bottom it says Get It On, Glow, Repeat which I thought was really cute. The palette closes magnetically and I really liked the UD on the closure of the palette, it just made it look even more professional.

Urban Decay say:
Afterglow goes on silky-smooth to create the perfect glow, and never leaves just a powdery dusting of shimmer…it almost seems creamy. It’s even infused with light-diffusing pigments to enhance and perfect the skin.
The highlights are so smooth and have minimal to no fallout what so ever. They don’t feel chalky or chunky but really soft, smooth and weightless on the skin. All of the shades worked really well with my skin tone and I really do think that the shades really cater for many different skin tones, which I really liked about this product. The shade are called: BLISS (champagne-gold), PEROXIDE (iridescent pink), NSFW (peachy pink-gold) & SIDE PIECE (golden peach). Even though you may think the pink shade is a bit ‘out-there’, it’s actually very wearable and looks stunning both on it’s own and mixed with the other shades.
The pigment on every single one of these shades is insane! They pack so much colour and can be used to create a sheer or bold highlight. Each shade is beautifully opaque, no patchiness at all when they are applied.
I’ve literally been wearing this every single day since I’ve got it. It has all the shades I could possibly want, all my highlighter needs are catered for in this palette. The Urban Decay Afterglow Palette retails at £27 which I think is a good price for 4 high-end highlighters. I am so so happy with my purchase and think that it will honestly last me forever! I know I won’t be hitting pan any times soon because you get so much product. I can’t wait to continue experimenting with the palette and bring you some makeup tutorials using it! Do you think you would you invest in the Afterglow palette? Let me know down in the comments. Also I have a giveaway running on my Twitter at the moment which ends on 25/07/2017, over and check it out!
P.S: Today I am literally spending the day in bed relaxing. I was so busy yesterday, thrift store shopping all day and then I went to a party in the evening. I am knackered! I still have more revision to do too *sigh*. Byesies! Xxxx
